I zone out a lot—not because I don’t have feelings,
but because I have too many, and I don’t know how to speak them.
I use imagination to escape loneliness, pressure, and boredom.
Sometimes, I don’t even know if I’m sad or just numb.
That’s why I want to learn—
how to stop relying only on dreams, and start using my real voice to express what’s in my heart.
🥕 1. I can pull bits of my imagination into words
I might not say “I’m sad” outright,
but I’ll say things like:
"I imagined I was a cloud—because I don’t want to deal with anything."
"If there were an escape button, I probably would’ve pressed it."
✅ I don’t always speak emotions directly, but I tell them through stories.
🥕 2. I can draw or write instead of speaking
Sometimes I can’t get the words out, so I might:
Draw how I feel (tired, blank, trapped)
Leave a sticky note: “I don’t know how to say it, but I want you to know something.”
Write you a mini scene from my mind
✅ I may be slow to express myself, but that doesn’t mean I feel nothing.
🥕 3. When you want me to share, please don’t pressure me
Please don’t say: “Just say what’s on your mind already!”
Instead, try:
"I know it’s not easy for you—take your time, I’ll wait."
"You don’t have to say much. I won’t push you."
✅ If you give me space, I’ll feel safer to speak.
🥕 4. When I finally open up, please receive it gently—not with analysis
Don’t rush into advice or logic.
You can say:
"So that’s what you’ve been thinking... I understand a bit more now."
"It’s really brave of you to tell me that."
✅ I’m scared you’ll say I’m being “too dramatic,” so your acceptance matters a lot.
🥕 5. Remember: It’s not that I don’t want to speak—it’s that I express things differently
I might wrap reality in fantasy,
replace tears with daydreams, and cover pressure with calm.
But if you’re willing to hear me in my language,
I’ll let you see the colorful world inside my heart.
